The first part deals with techniques for identifying investment opportunities such as cost/benefit analysis versus the investment appraisal method. The other two parts deal with the techniques for valuing the financial investment by describing various measuring methods like discounting market risk, project risk, measuring of intangible benefits, information gathering and benefits realization.
